Simulation
Simulation plays a crucial role in high-speed interface product development to validate the design before moving to physical testing. It refers to the process of using specialized software tools to analyze and predict the electrical and electromagnetic behavior of a PCB design. It allows engineers to simulate and evaluate various aspects of the PCB's performance
iPasslabs provides two main PCB simulation services:
- Signal Integrity Analysis Service:
Enable customer to analyze and optimize signal integrity by simulating the transmission and reception of high-speed digital signals across the routing trace, via, and component. This includes assessing parameters such as signal reflections, crosstalk, impedance matching, and eye diagram analysis to ensure reliable data transmission and minimize signal degradation. - Power Integrity Analysis Service:
Allows for the analysis of power distribution network (PDN) to ensure stable and noise-free power delivery to various component on the board. It helps identify potential voltage drop, ground bounce, and excessive noise, enabling optimization of power plane layout, decoupling capacitor placement, and power supply routing.
Furthermore, iPasslabs team members have over 20-years experience for simulation phase of product development in the ecosystem as well as the technical skill is reliable and having capability to provide technical advices, it could result in cost reduction: improved performance, reliability, and reduced development time.
